Welcome to my little timeline-project. A little explanation about how things work over here. This timeline is based on the assumption that the Galactic Standard Calendar is much like our Earth calendar, thus comprised of 12 months. But instead of 365 days, the Galactic Standard Calendar has 368 days (but that’s not really a problem as in my day-to-day calendar, I gave the month of February 30 days as well, meaning we are only 1 day short which you will not notice in the timeline).

I have also chosen to give each entry the Galactic Standard Calendar year-notation, meaning that the year-notation you will see is the Republic year (the year since the Galactic Republic was established, 25043 years before A New Hope). Each page also mentions the BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin) / ABY (After the Battle of Yavin) notation at the top (thus making it easier to navigate through the pages).

The third point I’d like to mention is that I will use the existing hyperspace traveltime tables (established by West End Games and continued by Wizards of the Coast) as much as possible, making it a much more realistic galaxy (only in the established movie-timelines you will see that it is possible to travel from Coruscant to, lets say, Mustafar in a much shorter time, but this can be ‘explained away’ by the fact that Darth Sidious managed to aquire shorter, much dangerous, hyperspace routes through the years: although I do not like it, or rather am very much against this, certain dates are set in time by the folks at Lucasfilm).
