The Star Wars Chronology Index is an outgrowth of a project now some six years old. Back in 2005, in a thread in the Lit forum of TheForce.Net's Jedi Council Forums, Stephen Ryan (that's me) began a journey through the EU in chronological order. At the time, the journey began, the intent was to read the existing EU in timeline order and post reviews of each entry.

Over the years, this required a lot of jumping around as new stories were told in new eras. The timeline originally being used as a guide went defunct and the project has now been restarted on its own website using two new timelines well known to any Star Wars fan: Joe Bongiorno's Expanded Universe Timeline and DinoJim's Expanded Universe Checklist.

The expansion of journey from its original home on the JC Forums to its own special home on Absolute Knave is very exciting. The old reviews are being expanded, new reviews are being written, more multi-media is being added and the Star Wars Chronology Index is growing every day. I hope you'll join me as I review, in my own particular style, the obscurities, the classics and everything in between from the Star Wars Galaxy.
