02:01, morning (Inner Rim, Stenness sector: Onderon, Iziz): As the assistant to King Ommin’s aide, Tolo Kad, young Novar learned
much from his superior, absorbing every detail of the political machinations he
witnessed over the years.
During this time, he becomes a master of the ways of
Onderonian ministers, from espionage to secret meetings to the spreading of
false information. To his utter delight, he finds that he excels at such
tactics, for his ability to mold himself into any role allows him to fool
others into believing every word he speaks. And when his lies are exposed, he
easily shifts the blame to those who had ‘discovered’ his falsehoods. Those who
continually defied him found themselves outside of Iziz’s walls, alone and
unarmed in a hostile wilderness filled with dangerous beasts and unpredictable
exiles. Tolo Kad approves of his assistant’s methods, boasting often that he had
