Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi Companion (Chapter Two: The Jedi: Qrrl Toq)                                                                                                                                        page 29

01:28, morning (Mid Rim: Nazzri): Having fallen prey to teachings of a dark nature, ancient rites spawned and bred out of pure evil that promises untold power to those who succumb to their lure, King Prrit Qabaq of the Nazzar rules with a steel gauntlet. His daughter, Ikree Qabaq, returned from a dozen years of boqeri, a form of self-imposed exile taken to seek spiritual truth, several months before, and opposed her father’s way.

Over the last months, Prrit Qabaq and his daughter sparred verbally on a continual basis, each condeming the other for his or her words and actions. Unrest throughout Nazzri blossomed, forcing the king to enforce marial law everywhere, thereby pussing more and more citizens toward the rebels’ banner. Finally, the tension breaks in a massive battle between the military and the rebels, during which Ikree Qabaq kills her father.

In the aftermath of the civil war, Ikree Qabaq speaks of what she has discovered during her boqeri: the Great Structure of the Ulizra. She proposes a government based on its tenets, which she believes will prevent the atrocities committed by her father and his court and will infuse a system of ethics and morals to which the Nazzri can look for guidance. Month 2

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi Companion (Chapter Two: The Jedi: Qrrl Toq)                                                                                                                             pages 29 & 30

02:14, day (Mid Rim: Nazzri): In the aftermath of the civil war in which rebels overthrew the ruling monarch Prrit Qabaq, his daughter Ikree Qabaq spoke of what she had discovered during her self-imposed exile: the Great Structure of the Ulizra. She proposed a government based on its tenets, which she believes will prevent the atrocities committed by her father and his court and will infuse a system of ethics and morals to which the Nazzri can look for guidance.

Now, the monarchy’s changing into a oligarchical theocracy concludes, and Nazzri will be ruled by a leader and 14 praefects, the heads of the 14 sects of the Ulizra, the state-enforced religion. Queen-Praefect Ikree Qabaq presides over the council of fifteen lawgivers and commands the military forces as well as all of Nazzri’s planetary security agencies, but only the praefects can introduce and vote on potential laws, changes and amendments to the state-given rights of individuals, and the use of the military in offensive actions.

As her first official act as queen-praefect, Ikree Qabaq orders all records of Prrit Qabaq destroyed for fear that knowledge of his dark magick activities might cause another to fall to the dark ways he had discovered. (note: YMD-date conjectured by Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi Companion)

Month 7

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi Companion (Chapter Two: The Jedi: Qrrl Toq)                                                                                                                             pages 29 & 30

07:18, day (Mid Rim: Nazzri): The new government, based on the tenets of the Great Structure of the Ulizra, works well for the Nazzar as people learn the vens of the state-enforced religion. Every member of society enjoys complete freedom. But now, only half a year after Queen-Praefect Ikree Qabaq assumed the thone, one of her father’s fanatical courtiers murders her. (note: YMD-date conjectured by Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi Companion which states that these events occur ‘half a year after Ikree assumed the throne’)
